Individual Therapy
All clinicians at McLean Psychotherapy & Psychiatry provide individual psychotherapy services. The goal of individual therapy is to assist individuals in gaining insights into their experiences, developing healthier coping mechanisms and enhancing their overall mental health and emotional resilience. The clinicians each offer a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including, but not limited to Art and Play Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Developmental Individual-differences, and Relational-based model (DIR), Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic.
Relational Therapies
Some clinicians offer parent guidance, couples, and family psychotherapy. These therapies seek to improve relationships between family members and establish healthier family functioning. Clinicians use a variety of systemic therapies to create a more supportive and healthy environment for all family members.
