Individual Therapy
All clinicians at McLean Psychotherapy & Psychiatry provide individual psychotherapy services. The goal of individual therapy is to assist individuals in gaining insights into their experiences, developing healthier coping mechanisms and enhancing their overall mental health and emotional resilience. The clinicians each offer a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including, but not limited to Art and Play Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Developmental Individual-differences, and Relational-based model (DIR), Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic.
Relational Therapies
Some clinicians offer parent guidance, couples, and family psychotherapy services. These interventions are designed to improve familial relationships and foster healthier dynamics within families and couples. By using systemic therapies, clinicians assist clients in establishing a more supportive and healthier environment for all family members.
