Chelsea Nagel, LPC
Chelsea Nagel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia, dedicated to supporting children, teens, adults, families, and communities through both challenges and triumphs. With a warm, empathetic approach, she focuses on enhancing her clients' social, emotional, and mental well-being. Chelsea has experience helping individuals with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, trauma, life transitions, and emotional regulation.
With seven years of experience as a school counselor and certification as a Yoga Teacher (YTT-200), Chelsea uses an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to each client. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), and mindfulness, she integrates these tools into a holistic, collaborative framework that values each client's unique needs.
Chelsea is committed to understanding the broader context of her clients' experiences, helping them build self-awareness and coping skills to navigate life’s challenges. Trauma-informed and supportive, she strives to create a safe space for healing and personal growth.
