Bentley G. Dorn, LPC
Bentley Dorn is a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She works with children, adolescents, and families in various settings including individual, group, and family therapy. She has extensive experience working with adolescents in crisis struggling with various mental health symptoms to include depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, anger, PTSD, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, ADHD, self-harm behaviors, at-risk behaviors, school avoidance, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal relationship issues. Bentley works to collaborate with all supports in place for each client to include outpatient providers and school staff.
Bentley strives to provide a safe and trusting environment in which individuals can actively engage in the therapeutic process in order to progress and grow while learning emotion regulation strategies and healthy coping skills. Her therapeutic approaches are individualized to each client and may include cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and person-centered therapies.
