Kara L. Clough is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Virginia. She provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents and their families. She has experience in providing therapy at a variety of settings to include: outpatient, a partial hospitalization program, county-level services, and schools across the East Coast for almost 10 years.

Providing therapy for the following concerns: symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, exposure to trauma, emotional dysregulation, personal crises, and life transitions. She has received extensive training in crisis management, cognitive behavioral approaches, motivational interviewing, couples mediation, task/solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Kara utilizes a multimodality approach, tailoring to each client’s specific needs and goals.
